She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd and Maryon; her brothers, Russell, Bobby and Billy of Nasby's Sales; and her nieces, Natalie and Meagan.

She is survived by: her husband Les Strass; her children, Jeff (Lisa) and Reannon (Conrad); her grandsons, Jagger and Lochlan; her stepgranddaughters, Jayden and Raquel; and her siblings, Barb (Lindsay), Brigette (Drew), Melanie (Ken) and Matthew (Melanie). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bette's memory to the Stollery Children's Hospital.
