She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Thompson and Olive Thompson; and her siblings, Elaine Lastuka, Shirley Ireland and Bill Thompson.

She is survived by: her husband James Roderick; her children, James (Karen), Gail (David) and John (Sarah); her grandchildren, Simon, Mathew, Evan, Carter, Jack, Sam and Adam; her siblings, Pat Thompson and Verner Thompson (Elsie); and her siblings-in-law, John Tweddle (Liz), Judy Peterson and Muriel Wade (Duane). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
