She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucio and Josefa; and her brothers, Agustin and Roman. She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Clarisa Arandia (Martin), Joycelyn Campbell (Patrick), Marilou Malo (Shaun) and Sharon Hervas; her grandchildren, Martee (Raquel), Denise, Kyle, Francis (Karina), James Perlas, Alexander, Jazzmine, Cierra, Xavier, Talon, Lucas, Ignatius Campbell, Joseph and Faustina Malo; her great grandchild Reese Arandia; her siblings, Evelina Paveglio (Mark) and Dr. Edgardo Ong (Aquilina); her sister-in-law Aurora Ong; her husband Rafael; and her caregiver Rogielyn.
During the pandemic our family initiated an online prayer group to recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy daily at 3:00 p. m. Despite her health struggles Emmy actively participated in the meetings and continued doing so for the past 4 years.
