We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2026, at the age of 72, Eric Butler (Edmonton, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Eric's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He is survived by: his wife Anne; his sons, Shane and Daniel (Ashley); his granddaughter Chloe (Tyson); his siblings, Tom (Mary), Ger (Terry) and Caroline (John); and his sister-in-law Marie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Park Memorial Chapel (9709 111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G0B2).
