He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Doktor; his parents, Stephen Doktor and Annie Doktor; and his brothers, Edward and Henry.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Ladner (Rob), Ian Doktor (Ariane) and Stephen Doktor; his grandchildren, Makayla, Hudson, Alison, Ella and Evan; his sisters, Elizabeth Doktor, Cecilia Puga (Nick) and Stella Kachmar (Walter); and his sister-in-law Mary (Karen). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ernie's memory can be made to the MS Society of Canada or to a charity of ones choice.
