He was predeceased by: his sister Elfriede Hoppensack; and his sister-in-law Irma Seutter. He is survived by: his wife Herta; his children, Marlene (David Cox), Siegrid (David Rempel), Evelyn (David Waddell) and Randy (Heather Seutter); his siblings, Karl Seutter and Gerda Freiheit (Hermann); and his sister-in-law Gertrud Schultz (Richard). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.

Due to COVID restrictions, no formal funeral service or memorial service is planned at this time.

Donations in memory of Erwin may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, whose friends, members and mission were close to his heart.
