Ethel Frances Teel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Frances Teel (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Harry; her daughter Louise; her parents, Reg Austin and Lillian Austin; her sisters, Elaine Nerdahl, Nora Gauthier and Betty Hofs; and her brothers-in-law, Roy Nerdahl and Maynard Gauthier.

She is survived by: her daughters, Frances Weekes (Don), Fern-Marie (Gaetan Brisson) of Korver and Kathy Thomas (Brian); her son-in-law Ernie Brauer (Lorraine); her grandchildren, Ryan (Kristina) of Korver, Jacquelyn Garland (Chad), Nathan Thomas (Hayley Rowan), Kasimira Thomas (Chris Simpson) and Justin Brauer; her great grandchildren, Malcolm, Saundra of Korver, Ava, Sofia Garland, Lucas and Zachary Simpson; her foster son Kim Lazaruk; and her brother-in-law Henry Hofs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y6A2).
