Eugene Smereka Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Smereka (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on February 26, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene Smereka to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Smereka and Virginia Smereka; and his godson Michael Bourbeau. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Nicole Fluet (Paul) and Shawna Royer (Gilles); his grandchildren, Jamie, Alannah Dean, John, Gina Royer, Lyssa and Jayden Fluet; and his sister Diane Bourbeau (Hubert). He is also survived by extended family and many good friends.

Due to COVID restrictions, the family will make arrangements for a celebration of life at a later date when we can share hugs, tears and stories.

Memorial donations can be made in Eugene's name to Haying in the 30's or the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
