He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Patsula and Doris Patsula; his brother Gerald (Rita Majeau); and his brother-in-law John Lavallee. He is survived by: his siblings, Theresa Lavallee, John, Ron (Anita Zacharko), Philip (Faye Ereiser), Tom (Caroline Nadon), Lucille (Del Jamieson), Dan (Margie Otto) and Elaine. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, brother priests, as well as numerous friends.
