He was predeceased by: his wife Shauna; and his brother Jim Porter. He is survived by: his children, Francis (Kristie) and Ann; and his siblings, Bob Porter, Marie Wood-Kolodziej, Sharon Ursino, Jim Murphy, Rick Murphy and Doug Murphy.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Connelly-McKinley Downtown Funeral Home (10011 114 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5K1R5).
Memorial Donations may be sent in Gary's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
