George Butner Obituary
The passing of George Butner (Edmonton, Alberta) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 6, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, George is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that George's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Anita, Sandra and Wayne; and his stepsons, Troy and Ryan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Meadowlands Baptist Church (2215 17 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6T1J1).
