We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2025, George Chu (Edmonton, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As George departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy George leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kee Gong Gee and Bik Chun Gee; his sister Ru Juan Zhu; and his son-in-law Billy Loh. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Gregory (Alison), Bonnie and Carrie (Raymond); and his grandchildren, Annie, Kobe, Noah and Ellie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Park Memorial (9709 111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G0B2). A reception will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
