He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his parents, John and Helen; his son Leslie; his son-in-law Byron; and his brother-in-law Peter.
He is survived by: his children, Genevieve Franklin (Keith), Benny Dubitz (Carol), Joleen Lutic and Shane Dubitz; his grandchildren, Amanda (Kyle), Kyle (Emily), John, Sarah, Shaun, Tristan, Andrew (Miranda), Nicholas (Lola), Kierstin and Ryle; his great grandchildren, Avery, Holly, Clara, Amelia and Elliot; and his sister Irene.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church.
