He was predeceased by: his wife Katharina; his parents, Andreas and Marianne; his grandson Michael; and his children-in-law, John and Lynn.
He is survived by: his children, Marianne, Andrew (Alice) and Martin (Leona); his grandchildren, Matthew (Lark), Adam, Eric (Suzanne), Kaitlyn and Aaron; and his great grandchildren, Bowen and Cady Jean.
