He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Basom and Odie Basom; his siblings, Alice, Blanche, Elaine, Irene, Frances, Jane and Paul; and his brother-in-law John Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Molly; his children, Randy (Kari), Cindy (Ray) and Jenny; his grandchildren, Kourin, Olivia, Caedon, Xavier, Teagan, Donovan, Rylan, Xarah and Molly Molly; and his in-laws, Shirley Rose, Gemma, Vernon Loutan, Rosalyn and Maurice Lopez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y6A2). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
