It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerry Semler (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Gerry find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eva; and his children, Edgar (Winona), Delora (Darryl) and Gerry Jr. (Mischa).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Steele Heights Baptist Church (5812 149 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5A3A7).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Steele Heights Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, a cause very close to Gerry's heart, or the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, where Gerry received outstanding care in his last days.
