She was predeceased by: her husband George Usher. She is survived by: her children, Barb (Larry), Kathy (Gary) and Sidney; her grandchildren, Tim, Evan, Cole, Brett, Jordan, Matthew (Taylor) and Jason (Tina); her great grandchildren, Mya and Zander; and her siblings, Vianney, Gerard, Marcel, Joe, Yvette and Martha. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Gertrude's name.
