She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene; her son Franklin; her grandson Zachary; her parents, Marie-Rose Ernestine Boucher and Edouard St. Jean; and her siblings, Blanche (Lionel), Fernande (Johnny) and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Francine, Claudette, Véronique (Rénald), Nelson (Gwen), Réjean (Cathy), Serge and Brigitte (Rob); her grandchildren, Aaron (Tamara), Adam (Peggy), Kira, Emma-Kate (Jean-Noé), Danielle (Gilles), Joël (Monique), Jean-Pierre (Geneviève), Lucas (Melissa), Nikki (Kyle), Gabrielle, Mark, Mathew and Julie (Rob); her great grandchildren, Everly, Layne, Jackson, Joshua, Cailyn, Maks, Camille, Caleb, Janique, Simone, Pauline, Francis, Isabella, Marcus and Chloë; her sister Véronique (Jacques); and her parents-in-law, Joan, Pierrette (Philip), Tony (Yvette), Marc (Janet), Father Ray and Jean-Charles (Carole). She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Gilberte would be grateful for any donations to be sent to the Pilgrim's Hospice- Roozen Family Centre in Edmonton.
