He was predeceased by: his wife Pat; his sisters, Pat and Bev; and his parents, Bert Bond and Lillian Bond.

He is survived by: his children, Derek (Michelle) and Glenda (Shawn); his granddaughter Sara; and his brother George (Marg). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
