He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Badach and Domicela Badach; and his siblings, Bronnie, Eugene, Kenneth, Matilda Krukowski, Wanda Leeb and Eda Stang.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Shaunna (Dennis Yasinski), Sheldon (Cheryl) and Dannette (Andy Hoenisch); his grandchildren, Mikayla (Kyle Duncan), Ali (Tom Wasuita), Jenna (Kyle Hoy), Samantha (Kevin Wong) and Sean Badach (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Finnley Duncan and William Wong; and his siblings-in-law, Josie Badach, Mary Badach, Rosamond Burkard, Noreen McRae and Dennis Leeb. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (18407 60 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6M1X7).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (https://cancer.ca) in memory of Gordon.
