He was predeceased by: his wife Ollie; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his daughter Dawn Hawley; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Stemler; his grandchildren, Jarrett Stemler (Ashley), Kate Sinclair (Don), Kelty Hawley and Shawn Hawley (Brooke); his great grandchildren, Adelyn Stemler, Emelia Stemler, Emery Sinclair, Lennon Sinclair and Ramsay Sinclair; and his brother Joseph Stemler. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Edmonton Fire Fighters Burn Treatment Society or a Charity of one's choice.
