He is survived by: his children, Frances Pickering, Nelson Kitchen, Kazza Nakano and Ralph Kitchen; his grandchildren, Riley, Ben, Kiyoko, Kimiko, Carl, Ann and Austin; and his siblings, Irene Lakeman and Hedley.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (10530 116 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5H3L7).
