With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Halina Zydek (Edmonton, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Witold; her children, Tadeusz, Wieslawa and Edward; her parents, Leon and Józefa; her sisters, Zosia and Irena; and her grandson Edward Jr..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Patricia (Jeff), Leslie (Michelle) and Kalyna; and her great grandchild Carson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Poland Roman Catholic Church (9906 83 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E2C1). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Poland Roman Catholic Parish (9906 83 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E2C1). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
