He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Marie Ward; his parents, Peter Ward and Mabel Ward; and his siblings, Blaine Ward (Kay), Marlene Devereux, Ross Ward and Joyce Teed (Dennis).

He is survived by: his children, Ida-Mae Therrien, April Melody Deuel and Hugh Bradley Ward; his stepson James Hagan; his son-in-law Vernon Deuel; his grandchildren, Amethyst Ward, Haley Deuel, Mathias Deuel and Evander Therrien; and his great grandchildren, Castle and Maximus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Harry's name to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta.
