He is survived by: his children, Debbie O'Neill (David) and Terry Knoop; his grandsons, Thomas O'Neill (Katie McKinnon), Cameron O'Neill (Laura LaFrance) and Evan Knoop (Avery Lodge); and his siblings, Anne Coulson, Jo-anne Van Twyver, Henry Knoop (Janet), Jeannie Tiemessen (Jerry Lessard) and Edward Knoop. He is also survived by many in-laws, nephews, and nieces.
