He was predeceased by: his wife Ella; his parents, John and Nellie; his brothers, Nick and John; and his in-laws, Gabriel Sr., Anastasia Tajcnar, Gabriel Jr., Liz Tajcnar, Bill Tajcnar, Rose Tajcnar and Murray Rennie.
He is survived by: his children, Ken Poznikoff (Kristine), Cathy Osborne (Dale) and Gordon Poznikoff (Angela); his grandchildren, Krista (Nick), Andrew (Anna), Karla (Matt), Gordon (Tyler), David (Yolanda), Jon (Matt), Cole (Abby), Taylor-Rae and Alexandra (Janelle); his great grandchildren, Solly, Levi, Charlie, Henry, Emerson, Marcus, Olivia, Nathan and Hudson; his sisters, Polly Osachoff (Paul) and Helen Rennie; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Poznikoff, Linda Poznikoff, Shirley Tajcnar, Rudy Tajcnar, Peter Tajcnar (Wilma) and Frank Tajcnar.
