She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merrill Gillis and Gertrude Gillis; her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Ken Thiessen of Calgary; her grandchildren, Christy Gunn (Ryan Bradley) of Vancouver, Brody Gunn (Sasha Tanche) of Beaumont, AB and Nathan Thiessen (Elizabeth) of Laurel, Montana.; her great grandchildren, Sofia, Olivya, Abygail Tanche-Gunn, Kenny, Kaden and Erik Thiessen; her husband Peter Gunn; her son Peter David Gunn; and her daughter-in-law Jackie Gunn.
