She was predeceased by : her husband Joe; her parents, Percy MacTaggart and Hazel MacTaggart; and her brothers, Allan and Garnet.

She is survived by : her children, Brian Smith (Sandra) and Diane Cummings (Gerald); her grandchildren, Charlene Cummings, Corrine Kim (Tim), Andrea Mehta (Lewis) and Darren Smith (Dominika); her great grandchildren, Hadley, Wyatt, Kyle Myah and Charlie; and her sisters-in-law, Mary MacTaggart, Donna MacTaggart, Margaret Relf (Doug) and Ruth Cummings (Norman). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
