Helen Isabel Mahoney Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Isabel Mahoney of Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on January 13, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Terence; her parents, Harley and Isabel (Whitla); and her brother Harley. She is survived by: her brother John Calvin Reid (Kelly); her sister-in-law Clodagh Wilson; her daughters, Sapphire Lightheart (Gabriel), Sharon Batchelor (Bill) and Heather Mahoney-Slaughter (Tim); her grandchildren, Shannon Gaudet (Bob), Kelly Batchelor (Javi), Nikki Slaughter and Jon Slaughter; her great grandchild Charlie Gaudet; her daughter-in-law Barbara Bishop; and her husband Denis Michael Mahoney.

Due to COVID issues an in-person service will not be held and an online celebration will be organized for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
