With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Malica (Edmonton, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Mary-Lee Komant; her parents, John Zazula and Anna Zazula; and her siblings, Nick, Bill (Helvi), Walter (Hannah), Joe, Henry and Mary Lapchuk (Nick).
She is survived by: her husband Stanley Malica; her children, MaeAnn Ardron (Francis), Marilyn Reaume (Reg), Angie Campbell (Terry), Elaine Beatty (Gordon), Veronica Stollery (Dale), Mark Malica (Sheryl), Robert Malica (Colleen), Curt Malica (Nada) and Sandra Zurch (Thomas); her son-in-law Shane Komant; her brother Mark Zazula; and her sisters-in-law, Olga Zazula, Ann Zazula and Natalia Malica. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
