He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Jason (Tina), Cindy Hunter (Shane) and Kevin (Georgina); his grandchildren, Joshua, Justina, Ryan, Royce and Jordi; his siblings, Haldis Safranka, Dennis Bukvi (Nola) and Donna Hucal (Ron); and his brother-in-law Tony Sorochan.

Due to Covid, a private memorial service will be held in Edmonton.
