With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helmut Wimmer (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on January 8, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adolf Wimmer and Angela Wimmer (Ecker); his daughters, Didi Wimmer-Frank (Rod) and Linda Wimmer; and his grandchildren, Michael and Riley (Lois Belter).
The family is sincerely grateful to the staff at 6Y Edmonton General Hospital, and Dr. Chea and staff at 6 West, Royal Alexandra Hospital. (Memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke).
