He was predeceased by: his wife Viola Hunter; his son Ron; and his sister Karin. He is survived by: his daughter Carol Pawlenchuk (John); his siblings-in-law, Jessie Hughson, Leona Hunter, Joyce Wood (Keith), Lillian Hunter and Mus Hunter (Eunice); and his close friend Joannie. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
