It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Whitford (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Doreen; his children, Keith and Karen; and his parents, John and Eliza.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy (Terry), Ivy, Susan (Chris), Hal (Sherrie) and Richard (Tara); his grandchildren, Terra (Gerald), Rob, Rosemarie, Cliff, Jeff, Cole, Ty and Bryce; his great grandchildren, Jaden (Rachel), Nick, Braeden, Cassidy, Kiana, Charlie, Spencer, Ezekiel and Maia; his great great grandchild Waylen; and his siblings-in-law, Earl (Connie), Harvey (Velma) and Gladys. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed a phone call or a visit anytime and always made you feel welcome insisting you come in for a cup of coffee or tea. Uncle Bud was a gentleman and just a super nice man. He enjoyed reminiscing about the old days and I always liked hearing his stories about our family history. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Niece Sheila McCallum (Anderson)”
