He is survived by: his siblings, Joy Wright of Lacombe, Adeline Cottrell of Wetaskiwin and Forrest Wright; his son Dean Wright; his daughter-in-law Lisa Wright (Dunbavin); and his grandsons, Aidan and Evan Wright.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, as these were both meaningful charities for Herschel.
