The memory of Hilda (Merkus) Berghout (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on March 7, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel; and her daughter Debbie Caldwell. She is survived by: her children, Clarence, Jim, Wendy Elzen (Tony), Beth Buitenbos (Roy) and Gloria Hunter (Shane); and her siblings, Betty Tiemstra and Ray Merkus (Eleanor). She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church (19010 87 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5T6P2).
