Irene (Danyluk) Dombrosky Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Irene Dombrosky, beloved wife of Ron. She was a proud mother and baba with a love for the outdoors. She could often be found in the garden or 'in the bush' looking for berries and mushrooms. Nothing could top her wild blueberry pie! Irene's love for the outdoors was shared with her family and especially Ron, as they would travel far and wide to ice fish throughout the winter. Every summer would be spent camping. If there was place for a firepit, they would stop.

Of all of this, nothing compared to the love she had for her family. Irene's amazing cooking would always ensure her family was well fed. Any visit would include food to bring home - she knew you would be hungry again when you got there! Many a night was spent with much laughter - and sometimes swearing - playing cards with family.

She is survived by her children Kelly (Lise) and Corie; grandchildren Nicholas (Taylor), Joshua, and Jacob; siblings Boris (Aline) and Evelyn (Bill); as well as many, many nieces and nephews.

Irene was predeceased by her best friend and husband Ron and 11 of her siblings.

Cremation has taken place and no formal funeral service will be held. Irene will be laid to rest with Ron at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

The family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice in honour of Irene.
