With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Mary Alice (Martel) Leveille of Edmonton, Alberta, born in Alida, Saskatchewan, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Martel and Kitty Martel; her brothers, Bob and Roy Martel; and her former husband Pierre "Peter" Leveille of Alida.
She is survived by: her children, Michele McCaughey (Grant), Peter (Sue), Joel (Michelle) and Bart; her grandchildren, Sean, Erin (Bryce), Peter (Lauren), Simeon, Paul (Elizabeth), Nathan (Stacey), Michael (Emily), Jake and Troy (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Keegan, Gavin, Scarlett, Evan, Peter, Margaret, Charlie, Amber, Calvin and Mia; and her brothers, Marlin and Blaine Martel. She is also survived by children in need and made sure here grandchildren.
