She was predeceased by: her former husband Nick; and her parents, Stefan Shandro and Sofia Shandro (Chorny). She is survived by: her sons, David (Elizabeth), Peter (Darlene) and Emil (Bin); her grandchildren, Sam, Stephen, Andrew, Mike, Nicholas and Annabelle; and her sister Ollie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Due to Covid restrictions, Irene will be interred at a private family gathering.
