Ivan Plazonic Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Ivan Plazonic (Edmonton, Alberta) is shared. Ivan, born on April 15, 1939, passed away on August 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Ivan will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Ivan by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Ivan is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Ivan’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Filip Plazonic and Ana Plazonic; and his siblings, Ilija, Milan and Luca.
He is survived by: his wife Neda Plazonic; his children, Filip (Lauren), Mary Ann and Antonia; his grandchildren, Keayla and Nikola; and his siblings, Milenka and Nediljko. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Nativity of Mary Croatian Catholic Church (10560 98 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5H2N4).
