He was predeceased by: his daughter Stephanie; his mother Dorothy Furman; and his sister Ellen Mackinnon. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his former husbands, Barry and Robert (Angela); his father-in-law Alex Trenchuk; and his siblings-in-law, Rachel Marsh (Glyn), Elvine Skoretz (Arni) and Dwayne (Amy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hope Mission which he supported throughout the years.
