He is survived by: his wife Florence Murtha of Edmonton, Alberta; and his children, James Murtha (Eileen) of Calgary, John Murtha (Vicky) of Sardis, Marlene Murtha of Edmonton and Donna Stromberg (Rod) of Sherwood Park, Alberta.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Connelly-McKinley Downtown Funeral Home (10011 114 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5K1R5).
