He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Hamaluk and Katerina Hamaluk (Kate); and his siblings, Roger, George and Jean.

He is survived by: his wife Pat; his pet Missy; his sons, Don (Wendy) and Trevor (Deanne); his grandchildren, Michael (Chelsea), Kristina (Scott) and Nickolas; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Maverick and Saylor; and his sister Lillian Sams of Stony Plain. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the Alberta Lung Association, The Institute for Wildlife Conservation or the SPCA.
