He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Cathcart and Freda Cathcart; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his sons, Michael (Jillian), Robert, Shawn (Stacey) and Brent; and his grandsons, Nolan and Owen.
