He was predeceased by: his parents, Barry Phillips and Christine Phillips; his grandparents, Everett James, Della James and Sylvia Major; and his nephew Eric Omeasoo.
He is survived by: his wife Chasity Phillips; his children, Jaycee, Alicia and Shaughnessy; his siblings, Cassandra Phillips, Aaron Spence, Jade Degrace (Nicole), Sharisse Monkman, Ariana Spence, Braden Spence, Sydney Spence and Madison Guimond; his nieces and nephews, Leah Phillips, Naveah Rowe, Harmony Omeasoo, Jaida Omeasoo, Tayra Omeasoo, Haiti Cuthand, Nevaeh Strickland, Sophia Degrace, Isiah Phillips-Rowe and Tayson Littlewolf; his great-nieces, Livia Geertsma, Zaniyah Omeasoo and Kaziriah Omeasoo; and his mother-in-law Rhonda Spence.
