He is survived by: his wife Joanne Boersma (Tieneke); his children, Catherine (Anthony), Freda (Howard) and Nico (Krystal); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Caleb, Joel, Trent and Levi; and his siblings-in-law, Grace Molenkamp, Rennie Molenkamp, Ank Vogel, Lien Boersma, Freida Boersma, Thomas Boersma and Jaap Boersma (Iet). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
