He was predeceased by: his parents, Engel Zomerman and Wobbina Zomerman; his sister Geertruida Haan (Truus); and his grandchildren, Rachel, Raven and Ashley.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Mead; his children, John Zomerman (Brenda), Andrew Zomerman, Angeline Stelter (Parry) and James Zomerman (Lisa); and his sister Zwaantina Bootsma (Tina).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Edmonton Food Bank.
