It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Gertrude Stang (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Gertrude Stang to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gibbs and Jessie Gibbs; her grandson Noah Zachary Stang; her sister-in-law Diane Gibbs; and her nephew Jason Gibbs.
She is survived by: her husband Urban Stang; her sons, Brent (Leanne) and Colin (Anya); her grandchildren, Parker, Kaitlin, Isabelle, Liam, Shawn, Grace and Sarah; and her brothers, John and Jerel (Donna).
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Albert Catholic Church (7 St Vital Ave, St. Albert, AB T8N1K1).
