She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard Honish; and her daughter Holly. She is survived by: her children, Lorelei (Brent) and Jaime (Bessy); her grandchildren, Dustin (Megan), Jenna (Navroop) and Dexter; and her great grandchild Mason. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y6A2).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta or Senior Living Cares.
