We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2024, at the age of 83, Joan Oleniuk (Edmonton, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Oleniuk (Joe); her parents, John Rozmy and Bernice Rozmy (Bokza); her in-laws, Peter and Doris Oleniuk (Malysh); her sister Helen (Thomas Koep); and her brother-in-law Paul Oleniuk.
She is survived by: her children, Carolynn Shortt (Christopher), Wendy El-Issa (Jalal), Joseph Oleniuk Jr. (Chris Nurse), Barbara Oleniuk and Patricia Quast (Lee); her grandchildren, Jasmine El-Issa, Zachary, Erika Shortt, Jacob Quast and Lexi Oleniuk; her niece Khouloud El Haj (Ali); and her sister-in-law Vera Oleniuk. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
